Bavarian Beerhouse "Old Street"
When Bavarian Beerhouse "Old Street" opened it's doors in December 2005 it was the first German / Bavarian Restaurant and Bar in London and the entire UK. When the Marketing team tried to subscribe the new venue to food & bar websites they could not chose the category "German Food" - there was no section about Germany. Today's success of German Bierkellers started with Bavarian Beerhouse "Old Street". The revenue of the former wine bar - a Davy's Wine Bar - was trippled within the first year which shows the great success from day one. Today, Old Street is a well known destination venue and well known for it's rustic and authentic atmosphere.
After Dinner - especially on Friday and Saturday - the restaurant's laid back atmosphere is kicked up a notch as Bavarian Beerhouse transforms itself into a buzzling spot with music entertainment and an atmosphere which is hard to beat.
Quote: "This place is not something you would consider for a romantic or a posh dinner. But it is one of London's best places for a group night out and having fun!"
